During the last school year, children and families benefitted from no-cost school meals for all students, made possible by special permission from the United States Department of Agriculture. Unfortunately, these permissions have expired. Westfall Local School District and the Ohio Department of Education cannot extend the permissions for no-cost meals for all students. School meals will still be available to all students; however, they will not be free to all students. Households may apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits by August 31, 2022. Applications are available at www.westfall.k12.oh.us on the food service page, as was done before the pandemic. Eligibility for free and reduced-price lunch is based on federal income guidelines or participation in programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Ohio Works First. For additional information concerning the National School Lunch Program, please see the U.S. Department of Agriculture school lunch question and answer webpage. DONORS: Tuesday’s blood drive location has changed from WHS auditorium to the WES cafeteria. Please park behind the elementary and enter through the back cafeteria doors. Donors may receive a cancellation email, but it will be automatically rebooked with the corrected location.

Westfall High School will be hosting a Meet & Greet for our Individual Pole Vault State Champion, Peyton Proffitt! Reminder: The Mandatory Player/Parent Meeting for the 2022 WHS Football season will be held this Wednesday, May 25 at 6:00 PM in the high school auditorium

Due to the potential for inclement weather this week, the 2022 commencement ceremony will be held inside the WHS gymnasium on Friday, May 27, at 8 PM. The entrance doors will open at 6:30 PM for families & friends. No tickets are necessary; it is a first-come, first-serve basis.

Music therapist Hannah Miller worked with Mrs. Link's students on a research project. They spent the past two weeks working on presentations of their favorite musicians, studying their music, and presenting to their peers.

WHS students will be returning their Chromebooks next week, starting on Monday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 25, after completion of exams. Please ensure that your student brings their Chromebook to school fully charged with its case, charger, and Wi-Fi hotspot (if issued). Please note: If your student is signed up to take Summer School or Summer Health, they will not be returning their Chromebook.
